*Invest in resources for people and families experiencing homelessness

*Support homeless veterans

I am very passionate about combating homelessness because I don't believe that in the world's wealthiest nation that there should be people without a roof lever their heads. You don't have to know a person's story to be empathetic to their struggle--you just have to have a heart. If elected I would like to introduce a Homeless Bill of Rights that would ensure that all people have the basic right to live where they choose without fear of harassment and criminalization. I will also support continued funding and grants to help our shelters continue to serve the community, particularly those that serve veterans.
